Terms and conditions

Credit card payments in favor of Hebridean Voyages Ltd are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as HEBRIDEAN on your credit card statement. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT.

CANCELATION POLICY

 We reserve the right to cancel cruises due to:-

Insufficent numbers -

A minimum of 8 adult paying passengers or the monetary equivilent of a combination of adults and children on a 2.5/3hr cruise.

A minimum of 10 adult paying passengers or the monetary equivilent of a combination of adults and children on a 4hr cruise or longer.

Adverse weather conditions -

When either the weather forecast prohibits our departure due to legal reasons within our operating license or due to the weather prospects at the time of departure that are prohibitive.

The Master of the vessel has the final decision on this at all times.

Shortened or abandoned cruises due to deteriorating weather conditions will be charged a fee dependant on the expenses encurred or to the nearest hourly charge.

Extended cruises will also be charged at the nearest hourly rate or a sum agreed by the Master of the vessel with the passengers.

Circumstances beyond our control -

For the likes of staff illness, mechanical breakdown etc and the above weather conditions also apply.

General conditions 

 

YOU MUST GIVE US A CALL BEFORE 3PM, 3 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE DATE TO CONFIRM THE WEATHER ETC IS OK?

BOOKINGS MADE WITHIN 3 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE AND YOU MUST GIVE US A CALL IMMEDIATELY!!!

REMEMBER YOU MUST ARRIVE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE DEPARTURE OF YOUR CRUISE TIME. YOUR SEATS MAYBE RE-SOLD 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE CRUISE IS DUE TO LEAVE.

If we have to cancel a cruise every effort will be made to re-schedual an alternative cruise if requested. If that is not possible a refund will be given via your original payment method.

If you cancel a cruise for any reason what so ever without giving us 24 hours notice from your scheduled date's departure time, then there are no refunds. Cruises cancelled before 24 hours notice of your scheduled departure will encur a 5% cancelation fee.

All passengers must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Booked seats maybe re-sold 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time as this is deemed to be a no show.

All pre booked passengers must call the office on the number provided 3 days in advance of their cruise before 1500 hours to confirm the weather etc is OK for the cruise to go ahead. For example if you are booked on the 15th of August you must phone us no later than 3PM on the 12th of August. Failure to do so may result in your seats being re-sold. Please note we cannot accept emails only phone calls to confirm the cruise is going ahead.

Please note that we are not responsible for any third party expenses on your behalf under any circumstances

Wheelchairs

Persons under the age of 4 years

Pregnant ladies of any term

Persons that cannot grip securely with both hands

Persons with any back problems

Persons who appear to be intoxicated or have taken non prescibed drugs

Persons that the Master of the vessel deems to be a danger to the passengers on board or the safety of the vessel

Pets of any kind

No alcoholic drinks are allowed on board and no smoking including vapourizers

What you can take on board-

Light refreshments maybe consumed on board if kept in a suitable small bag

Camera equipment, mobile phones and other electrical equipment are taken on board at the owners risk and we are not responsible for any damage that maybe incurred

Any personal possessions are also taken at the owners risk and we are not responsible for any damage that maybe incurred 

We reserve the right to change sailing times and the duration times of cruises for any reason
